Our Father in Heaven, we come boldly into Your Presence to seek your supernatural touch upon three Osage County Sheriff’s Deputies and a Kansas State Trooper who were wounded in the line of duty. As the news reports their wounds were not life-threatening, we ask You to provide the medical doctors treating these peace officers with wisdom from On-High. May they accurately assess their wounds and apply the appropriate treatment. May Your Holy Spirit gently settle on their heart and soul and reveal to them how much You love them. O’ Lord, we also thank You for sparing their lives. May Your mercies, grace and comfort touch them and draw them ever so close to Your Side. As the family of these peace officers are supporting and loving them, may You pour out an unending measure of Your love, grace, peace, mercy, comfort and most of all Your sweet presence to carry them through this difficult time. We also lift before Your throne of grace the family and entire Virginia Dept. of Corrections in the on-duty murder of Corrections Officer Jeremy Lewis Hall.  Lord, as there are countless broken hearts right now, may You Presence and grace overwhelm their hearts and souls as they are mourning this horrific loss.  May You grace guide the members of the Virginia Dept. of Corrections as they must now prepare a final farewell to their fallen comrade. May Your words as follows speak deeply in the hearts of those in need, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” As the news reports the suspect died in the Kansas incident, may You grant the investigators with supernatural wisdom and insight to gather the facts surrounding this deadly encounter. May You also provide wisdom to the investigators in Virginia.  We especially lift up the men and women of the entire Osage County Sheriff’s Department, Kansas State Troopers and Virginia Dept. of Corrections as we know these incidents have deeply affected them. May Your Holy Spirit touch every heart and draw them ever so close to Your Side to be comforted by Your sweet Presence. And as this has likely emotionally affected the other deputies, troopers and corrections officers from these encounters, may they be comforted by a special touch of Your Hand upon their heart and mind right now. Continue to touch and heal your wounded peacemakers and restore him to full health. May Your words continue to bring comfort to many as follows: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
