Praying for two seriously wounded Tifton (GA) Police Officers

Our God of Mercy and Grace, the past several weeks have been extremely difficult for peace officers across America. O’ God, it is with a sense of urgency that we,, again, come boldly into Your Presence to seek your supernatural touch upon both of these Tifton Police Officers. As one news report indicates both are now in stable condition, we ask You to provide the medical doctors treating them right now with wisdom from on High. May they accurately assess their wounds and apply the appropriate treatment to restore them to full health. O’ Lord, thank You for sparing the lives of Your two servants. As these wounded peacemakers continue to be treated in the hospital, may Your Holy Spirit gently settle on their hearts and souls and reveal to them how much You love them. May each officer deeply and intimately sense and know Your mercies, grace, love, Presence and comfort and draw them ever so close to Your Side. As the families of both officers are at their side, may You pour out an unending measure of Your love, grace, peace, mercy, comfort and most of all Your sweet presence to carry them through this very difficult time. May Your words as follows speak deeply in the hearts of those in need, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” As many officers have been deeply challenged emotionally and spiritually, may they know Your word says, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” As the news reports the suspect is no longer a threat, may You grant the investigators with supernatural wisdom and insight to gather the facts surrounding this encounter. We especially lift up the men and women of the entire Tifton Police Department and allied agencies as we know this has deeply affected them. May Your Holy Spirit touch every heart and draw them ever so close to Your Side to be comforted by Your Presence. Finally, if either officer does not have a relationship with You, may You raise up chaplains and Godly officers to share Your love. O’ God, continue to touch and heal your wounded peacemakers and restore them to full health. May Your words continue to bring comfort to many as follows: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
