Praying for a seriously wounded Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety

Our Father in Heaven, we come into Your Presence, Lord, to lift up a Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety wounded in the line of duty. As the news he was shot at least once, we seek Your healing touch to be upon this trooper’s heart, mind and body. Thank You, Lord, for sparing his life. As he was airlifted to a hospital, may You empower the doctors and medical professionals with wisdom to be able to accurately and swiftly diagnose his injuries and to continue to apply the appropriate treatment. May Your mercies and grace touch this trooper and sustain him with Your Arms of Love. May he make a full recovery in body, spirit and mind. We are so thankful one of the the suspects was apprehended. As a second suspect is being sought, may You grant the investigators wisdom to locate and arrest this suspect.  May You protect every peace officer involved in this manhunt.  May Your peace and mercy touch the hearts and minds of the many peace officers involved in this incident.as they had to endure this near-death scenario. May Your amazing grace especially descend upon the family of this injured trooper and his colleagues as they are rally around him to love and support him at this very emotional time. Lord, as we know this attack on this trooper will affect many co-workers and others in the local law enforcement community, may Your grace and love surround them and hold them ever so tightly in Your Hands. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a beacon of light to this injured trooper and any others who were involved in this near-death encounter. If this injured trooper does not know You personally, may You remove the scales from his eyes and heart and reveal to him the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. O’ Lord, let Your peace that passes all understanding settle in the hearts of this injured trooper, his family and in the heart of every member of the Texas Department of Public Safety.  May Your word as follow bring comfort to those in need, “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” And, “He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” Lord, preserve the hearts and minds of those affected and spare them from any short-term or long-term emotional trauma. May You use this incident Lord, to open the hearts of many to know and receive the salvation of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May You use this to draw many who may have fallen away from You and may You welcome them back into Your arms of Loving kindness, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen
