Our Most Merciful and Gracious Father, we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a seriously wounded Nottingham Police Officer who shot on-duty and several wounded/stabbed Boston Police officers attacked with a sword. As these officers are being treated at a hospital, we seek Your supernatural intervention upon Your wounded servants.  May You fill the medical doctor with wisdom to use their education and experience and apply the utmost care for these peacemakers. By Your mercies and grace, may each officer be restored to full health for it is only You, Lord, to whom we seek Your amazing grace and mercy to descend upon each officer.  As the suspect in New Hampshire is on the run, may You protect each officer involved in the search from all harm.  And if the suspect tries to harm any officers, may You cause his weapon to misfire or malfunction.  May You raise up witnesses to spot the suspect and report his location to authorities.  As we know these officer’s families are likely at their side, may Your love, grace, peace, mercy and kindness settle upon them and draw them ever so close to Your Side this Easter season. May they each sense Your Sweet presence with them right now upholding them with Your grace and arms of love. May Your Holy Spirit settle upon the heart and mind of each officer and sense Your grace carrying them through this difficult time. And as the men and women of the Nottingham and Boston Police Departments are rallying around their wounded colleagues, we know there may be a deep emptiness that only You can fill as they cope with this on-duty attack upon their co-workers.. May You grant the investigators wisdom and insight to investigate each incident and we are thankful the suspect the suspect in Boston is no longer a threat. O’ Lord, may Your words dwell richly in the hearts of family and the men and women of the law enforcement as follow: “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.” So Lord, continue to supernaturally protect every peacemaker across America. Finally Lord, may every law enforcement officer know Your word says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. O’ Lord, may Your peace that passes all understanding be made real on the hearts of many peace officers, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
