Our Merciful Lord, this week continues to be tough for law enforcement officers across America as they are protecting and serving their communities. We, therefore, again come before Your Throne of grace to lift into Your presence the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Dept. in the on-duty fatality of Deputy Landon Faulkner, and for a wounded Del Rio Police Officer and a seriously wounded Greenville Police Officer.  As we first lift these wounded officers into Your hands of love and grace, may Your healing power settle upon their enitire body, mind and spirit. As they continue to be treated at a hospital, we ask You to grant the doctors with supernatural and natural wisdom to effectively diagnose these officers injuries and then apply the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. May Your love, grace, mercy, comfort, love, peace and presence touch the family of these injured officer and sustain them with Your amazing grace. As the family of Deputy Landon Faulkner have been deeply affected at the loss of their loved and as the families of these wounded Del Rio and Gtreenville officers rally around their wounded loved ones, may Your word comfort them as follows, “Be still and know that I am God.” And if these wounded officers do not know You personally, may You raise of Godly officers or chaplains to share the love of Your Son with him. And Lord, we want to lift up the men and women of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, the Del Rio Police Department and Greenville Police Departments into Your arms of love. As we know the pain is ever so real, may Your grace and mercies touch those who have been so deeply affected. May Your mercy, comfort, love, peace and presence touch the family of each peace officer and sustain them with Your amazing grace. As countless members of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department are in shock and mourning ever so greatly at this loss, may Your Holy Spirit speak to their hearts to know Your word as follows says to, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.“ O’ God, May Your peace that passes all understanding sustain those in need. Grant the investigators in Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee with wisdom and insight to piece together the facts surrounding these incidents. So, Lord, we come boldly before Your Throne of grace to lift all who are deeply grieving and mourning into Your Arms of Love. As the men and women of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department will begin to make preparations for a final farewell service for Deputy Faulkner, may You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to bring hope and grace at this difficult time. And in the weeks to come may many be drawn unto the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life and peace. May many receive You, Jesus, as their savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
