Our Lord Jesus, We come into Your Presence, O’ Lord, to lift Lexington Police Officer Donnie Hill and Springfield Police Chief Adam Evans before Your Throne of Grace. O’ God, we seek the healing touch of Jesus upon these wounded and injured peace officers. May your grace, mercy and continued healing touch be upon them. As they are being treated and recovering, may You grant the doctors and medical personnel continued wisdom to continue to provide the best treatment that will lead to a full recovery. As their family is at their side, may You grant them peace, grace, mercy and comfort in their hearts and minds as they cope with these life-threatening encounters.. May Your Presence and comfort to be with all of the law enforcement personnel who were at those scenes and protect their minds and hearts from any mental and emotional repercussions so common to those who have experienced life-threatening events. As these incidents are being investigated, may You grant the investigators wisdom and insight to gather all of the facts surrounding this attack on one of Your servants in which a suspect ws arrested. May the presence of your Holy Spirit be revealed to the men and women of the Lexington and Springfield Police Department and other allied law enforcement personnel involved in those incidents.  And if any do not know you personally, may they somehow have an opportunity to receive You into their hearts to obtain eternal life with You. And if this wounded/injured officers does not know You, may You send chaplains or Godly officers to reach out to this officer and anyone else in need of Your Touch. May Your word as follow bring comfort and mercy to every officer and protector, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And, “The fear of the Lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.” May Your Hands of mercy and protection touch every officer, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
