Our Gracious Lord, we come with deep hearts of thanksgiving and gratitude before Your Throne of grace to lift three wounded peacemakers. We are so thankful the live of a Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Deputy, a Bridgetown Police Officer and a wounded North Jutland Police Officer were all spared.  May Your mercies and healing touch be upon these peace officers and may You continue to make available to these officers the correct medical professionals at the hospital and grant these medical specialists with supernatural wisdom and insight to provide to most effective treatment to bring about a full recovery and healing to them. May Your mercies settle upon each peacemaker and may Your peace be made ever so real in their hearts and minds because of Your love and grace. May Your arms of love especially surround the families of all officers as they are at the hospital supporting them at this very emotional time. May You be a Shield around them be the lifter of their hearts and minds. May Your hands of protection, mercy and grace be with the many other law enforcement officers who were involved in those incidents in which the suspects were shot. Surround every law enforcement officer with Your Protecting Arms and keep them all safe from any harm or danger at all times. Finally, may Your mercy, grace and peace especially touch the men and women of the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department, a Bridgetown Police Department and the North Jutland Police Department.  May You prevent any officer from enduring any long-term emotional trauma and may You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be available to pray for and support their co-workers at emotional time.  May Your word as follow comfort hurting hearts, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest”, and “humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” May many officers, family members, friends and co-workers be drawn to Your Son in whom there is eternal life. If any peace officer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may they know that now is the acceptable time, that now is the day of salvation. May many receive You as their Savior and Lord. May Your grace continue to touch these wounded officers and bring about a full healing. May Your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of these wounded officers and if they do not know You personally, may You lead someone to tell them of Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
