Praying for critically wounded Dallas (TX) Independent School District Police Officer Justin Jones and for a seriously injured California Highway Patrol Officer from an on-duty collision

O’ Merciful Lord, we, again, come boldly into your Presence to lift up Officer Justin Jones into Your loving arms. As the news reports he was initially in critical condition and taken to a trauma center where he underwent surgery, we seek Your presence, grace and healing power to continue to settle upon him right now. We also lift a a seriously injured California Highway Patrol Officer into Your healing arms from an on-duty collision. O’ Lord, You alone are our Rock and our Fortress and our ever-present help in times of trouble, and we earnestly come before your Throne of Grace to thank you that both officers are in stable condition. As they continue to be treated at a hospital, may You continue to provide the needed medical specialists and doctors to diagnose their wounds and injuries and apply the correct treatment and medications to bring about a full recovery. As we know the family of Officer Jones and the CHP officer are at their side and are deeply concerned and emotionally affected, we seek Your amazing grace to sustain them through this very difficult time of uncertainty. May they know Your word says, “"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." Lord, may your sustaining grace, peace and mercy touch the hearts and souls of the men and women of the Dallas Independent School District Police Department and CHP as they rally to support their wounded and injured colleagues. Continue to pour out Your wisdom on the medical staff to treat your peacemakers. We are thankful the suspect in Dallas has been arrested. And may you give the Califnronia Highway apatrol wisdom to determine the facts from this collision. May You supernaturally protect every officer on and off duty and may You grant the investigators wisdom and insight to piece together the facts of this attack on the Dallas officer May Your words as follow speak to the hearts of so many, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ; and “Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.” So Lord, raise up chaplains and other Christian officers to bring comfort to all. May many know and intimately experience Your grace and mercy, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
