Our Merciful Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a critically wounded Gibsonburg police officer. As the news reports the officer was stabbed in the neck, we come in great earnest into Your Presence to seek You healing touch upon this female officer. As this incident is still fluid, may you grant the investigators wisdom to gather all of the facts and evidence in this incident and as the suspect who stabbed this officer escaped, may You, Lord, grant the investigators wisdom and insight to track and arrest this suspect. May You protect every officer involved in this search. May You cause the suspect to be spotted by a citizen reported to police. O’ Lord, may You cause the suspect to be confused and fatigued and surrender. So. Lord, we continue to lift this wounded officer into Your loving arms. May You pour out Your love, grace, mercy, peace and comfort upon her heart and mind. As she is being treated at a local trauma hospital, may You grant the medical doctor’s wisdom and insight to accurately diagnose her injuries and then apply the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. And as this officers’ family is likely at her side supporting her through this near-death experience, may You comfort them by the power of Your Holy Spirit and draw them ever so close together in the bonds of love. O’ Lord, as there are countless officers across America on-duty every day of the year, continue to surround them with Your Holy Spirit and supernaturally protect them. May every peace officer always remember their training in all they do, and should any planned or spontaneous attacks occur, may Your Holy Spirt supernaturally stop these attacks upon Your servant-peacemakers. May every officer know Your word says, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world”, And “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” May all officers across America know how much You love them and may they surrender their hearts and lives to You as You supernaturally protect them with Your love, grace, power and mercy. May Your Amazing Grace touch this officer and heal her. And if she does not know You as her Savior and Lord, may Your Holy Spirit speak to her heart and allow her to invite You into her life to be her Savior and Lord. Continue to heal this wounded officer and draw her unto the love of Your Son, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
