. As all peace officers are being treated at a hospital and are said to be in stable condition, we ask for Your Healing touch to continue to be upon them and to grant the medical doctor’s wisdom and insight in order to provide for a full and complete recovery. May You continue to raise up the correct medical specialists to treat their injuries and restore them to full health. Most importantly, Lord, we ask for Your amazing grace to settle upon the hearts and minds of each of these wounded/injured peace officers and the large contingent of law enforcement officers who were involved. As they must deal with the emotional reality of this life-threatening event of their wounded colleagues, may Your grace and your presence especially touch these wounded peace officers’ hearts and minds as they faced this near-death encounter. May Your Presence, mercy and grace be with the members of the Pittsburg, Richmond Police Departments and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Department and many officers from other allied agencies as we know it can affect other co-workers as well. May Your peace that passes all understanding especially touch the family of these wounded peace officers as they rally around their loved one after this near-death experience. Lord, may You use this near tragedy to draw the members of the many law enforcement agencies unto Your side where many can intimately experience the joy provided by Your Son. And if these wounded peace officers or any other co-workers or family members do not know Your love and forgiveness, may Your Holy Spirit cause many to examine their hearts and draw them to the Love of Your Son. Lord, we ask You to provide the investigators with wisdom and insight as they investigate this attempted murder on your servants in which both suspects have been arrested. Most importantly Lord, as a result of this near-death encounter, may You draw many officers and family members to Your side and may many come to receive You as their Savior and Lord. May Your word as follows bring comfort to many, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.“ May Your mercies and peace rest upon the many other peace officers, first responders and medical personnel who aided in saving the life of these wounded warriors, in Jesus’ name, Amen
